IndianOil among India's 'Top Ten' in Business India's Super 100 Listing
IndianOil is among India's Top Ten Super 100 Companies in Business India's `Super 100 Listing' declared recently.
As the topmost petroleum downstream company, it stands at the first position on the basis of net sales.
Whilst it also secured the third position under profit after tax, IndianOil incidentally, saw the highest profit growth in the top 5.
Business India has been keenly watching the companies' EBIDTA (earning before interest, depreciation, tax and amortization) to find out how the companies have improved their earnings over the years to be competitive. IndianOil managed an impressive leap from last year's 23 rd position to third position this year under the category of EBIDTA. This leap is representative of IndianOil's two-pronged strategy: on one hand it is rationalising on the cost front through manpower and material management, while on the other it is making concerted efforts to enhance productivity by infusing latest technologies. IndianOil's position on the basis of net fixed assets is fourth, with assets worth Rs 41, 990 crore.
This is the 18th year that Business India has brought out the Super 100 list. These Super 100 companies are widely accepted as India's top companies.
