IndianOil wins Retailer of the Year - Rural Impact Award
 IndianOil has been bestowed with one more award in recognition of its pioneering efforts to tap the huge potential of the rural market in the country. The Asia Retail Congress (ARC) has awarded IndianOil, the "Retailer of the Year (Rural Impact)" Award at the Reid & Taylor Awards Ceremony for retail excellence.
The ARC held a two-day summit on "Strategies and Solutions for Business Innovation and Transformation" at Mumbai which culminated in the award ceremony. The award was received by Mr. K.R.Suresh Kumar, General Manager (Retail Sales), IndianOil, in the presence of leading dignitaries and eminent personalities from the retail industry.
IndianOil has bagged the award amidst stiff competition from nominees like ITC (e-chaupal), DCM Hariyali Bazaar, Godrej, etc. ARC has introduced the rural retail award as a separate category in the 4th year of its inception. The ARC is the single most important global platform to promote world-class retail practices and is aimed at recognizing brands and companies who play a leadership role as change agents in the retail sphere.
This recognition for IndianOil comes close on the heels of the 'Best Rural Retailer' Award given by the India Retail Forum to the company's efforts in rolling out the pioneering Kisan Seva Kendra network in rural India. IndianOil is ranked among India's "Top Valuable" Companies in the Business Today 500 listing and is ranked 2nd amongst India's Top 50 Most Valuable Brands by Brand Finance. IndianOil is also the only petroleum company as the "The Most Trusted Brand" in ET Brand Equity annual Survey.
