IndianOil honored with `CIO 100 Award 2007'
Mr. David Hill, CEO, International Data Group (IDG), USA presented the ` CIO 100 Award 2007' on 7th September 2007 to Mr. S.S. Soni, ED (Optimization &IS) for Innovative use of IT in furtherance of Organizational Business Objectives - Excellence by Supply Chain Optimization. The Award was presented at a glittering `Symposium and Awards Ceremony' held at New Delhi. This is the second year in the running that IndianOil has been conferred with this prestigious award.
This is also the second prestigious award being conferred on the Information Technology group within a matter of fortnight. On August 27th, 2007, the group was honored with 'SAP ACE Customer Excellence Award'.
IDG is an International Organization. A `CIO 100 Award' is an acknowledged mark of Enterprise Excellence and is ranked in the top 10 most influential corporate scorecards. This annual award in India is second in the series to honour 100 Organisations and their people for using Information Technology in Innovative ways for bringing excellence in process optimization or significant customer/ social/ financial impact in an organizational context. A jury consisting of eminent personalities evaluated the nominations for selection for award.
