IndianOil's "Car in a Tank" sales promotion scheme wins Stevie Award
IndianOil's highly popular "Car in a Tank" sales promotion campaign has won the prestigious Stevie Award for "Best Marketing Campaigns" from the International Business Awards, a global organization based in United States that recognises great performances in business from over 30 countries.
The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Beginning with The American Business Awards in 2002, and The International Business Awards in 2003, and The Stevie Awards for Women in Business in 2004, the mission of the Awards is to raise the profile of exemplary companies and individuals among the press, the business community, and the general public.
Stevie is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek for "crowned". The Board of distinguished judges & advisors of the International Business Awards features many of the leading figures in business worldwide. The recipients of the International Stevie Award trophies were selected from more than 1,700 entries in more than 40 categories received from all over the world. The award to IndianOil will be given at the awards gala to be held at Ireland on 8th September 2008.
IndianOil has won the award under Marketing Categories for Best Marketing Campaign, a new category for 2008, among others.
