Safety Innovation Award for IndianOil for fourth consecutive year
IndianOil was conferred the Safety Innovation Award-2008 for achieving excellence in innovating safety measures for the fourth consecutive year by Mr. D.P. Agrawal, Chairman, UPSC, at the inaugural session of Safety Convention-2008 held today at New Delhi. IndianOil’s Mathura Refinery was also awarded the Safety Innovation Award for Occupational Safety, Health & Environment and Challenges of Globalisation.
Safety & Quality Forum of The Institution of Engineers (India) has instituted Safety Innovation Awards in the year 2005. The award is given with a view to encourage outstanding government organisations, PSUs, corporates and Private sector industries from Manufacturing and Service Sectors to strive for excellence in the fields of Occupational Safety, Health & Environment. Safety and Quality Awards are based on the evaluation of the written applications and the results of fact-finding exercises.
