IndianOil presented the 'Indian Express Uptime Champion Award'
Mr. S.V. Narasimhan, Director (Finance), Mr. S.S. Soni, ED (IS), Incharge, CO, Mr. S. Ramasamy, ED (IS), CO, received the prestigious 'Indian Express Uptime Champion Award 2008' recently. The award was bestowed on IndianOil for its Corporate Business Technology Centre (CBTC) for its new data centre. This is the second time that 'Uptime Champion Award' has been presented to IndianOil. Earlier in the year 2006, the same award went to IndianOil Business Continuity Centre at Jaipur.
This prestigious award has come to IndianOil in recognition of its well-designed IT infrastructure uptime strategy that includes critical elements of Data Centre like power, cooling, monitoring systems, scalability and redundancy. Such a well-executed strategy guarantees optimal infrastructure uptime 24x7 for India's leading corporate - IndianOil.
The other competing finalists for this award were M/s Reliance Industries, IFFCO and TVS Motors.
