| IndianOil wins six awards at PRSI annual meet

IndianOil’s Corporate Communications group has received six awards at the 30th All India Public Relations Conference held at Guwahati, Assam, on December 11, 2008.
The award ceremony, organised by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), saw the Corporate Communications group of Haldia Refinery winning most of the prizes. The Monthly corporate bulletin, Haldia Refinery Safety Bulletin, received the second prize in the corporate bulletin category, corporate campaign of Haldia refinery titled 'Save Oil' got the second prize in corporate campaign category, while the daily e-zine, HaldRefin e-Newstrack, and the corporate film on Haldia Refinery titled 'Haldia Refinery - Paving the Way for a New India' won the third prizes in e-newsletter and corporate film categories, respectively.
 Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Information Technology, Science and Technology, Government of Assam presented the awards to Mr. Sudhakar Jha, Chief Human Resource Manager(I/C), and Mr. Subhrant Nayak, Sr. Corporate Communications Officer, Haldia Refinery.
In other awards, Mr. Alok Singh, Manager (CC), Eastern Region Marketing, (Marketing Division) received the first prize in the mass awareness campaign category, while Marketing Headquarters was awarded third prize for corporate brochure.
