| Greentech Safety Award
2010 for Guwahati Refinery

The Greentech Foundation has conferred yet another laurel on IndianOil. The Guwahati Refinery received the prestigious 'Greentech Safety Award 2010' in Gold category under Petroleum Refining segment, for the second time in a row. The award was received by Mr. G. Bhanumurthy, ED, Guwahati Refinery, along with Mr. A. K. Mathur, Senior Manager (Fire & Safety) and Mr. S. M. Raut, Deputy Manager (Fire & Safety) at a glittering function held in Goa on May 24, 2010. Mr. G.M.E.K. Raj, Deputy Director General (DGFASLI) and Mr. Ramakant Khalap, Chairman (Goa Law Commission), were also present during the ceremony.
This award signifies the landmark achievement of Guwahati Refinery for the development and implementation of effective safety management systems and procedures along with good performance in safety for last three consecutive years. Sustaining the high standards in the field of Safety Management, Guwahati Refinery has a commendable record of completing 2355 accident-free days till date, amounting to 25.9 million man hours.
