Barauni Refinery added another feather to its cap by winning the "Best Kaizen Award" at  the 15th TPM National Conference held in Pune during June 24-25, 2010. The conference was organised by  the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), TPM Club of India and JIPM-Solutions Company Limited,.

The Kaizen title 'Intermediate Storage Of LRU fuel gas in Horton Sphere - 244/245 and supply to the Refinery Gas Header to reduce gas pressure fluctuation" has been conferred with "Best Kaizen Award" under "Supervisor / Manager Category."

Mr. Sanjay Kumar, DMPN (TPM), Mr. S K Lal, PNE (Coker), Mr. T Prasad, SEA (Coker) and Mr. R K Prasad, SEA (Coker) represented the Barauni Refinery team during the conference.
