The award being presented to Team Panipat Refinery from Dr. Karan Singh, MP& President, Indian Council for Cultural Relations

Panipat Refinery won the prestigious 'Golden Peacock Environment Management Award-2012' in Oil & Gas category constituted by Institute of Directors (IOD). Panipat Refinery has won this award for its excellence in implementing various environmental friendly technologies, schemes and methodologies.

The award was presented by Dr.Karan Singh, MP during the 14th World Congress on Environment Management recently held at New Delhi. Mr. Sanjoy P Bordoloi, GM (HS&E), Mr. V S Dhakate, CM (HS&E) and Mr. B B Makwana, M (HS&E) received the award on behalf of Panipat Refinery. It is a significant recognition of the Refinery's continuous pursuit of environmental excellence. During the two day congress, a presentation was also made on Best Environment Friendly Technologies being adopted by Panipat Refinery.

The coveted and prestigious Award constituted by Institute Of Directors, helps to rapidly accelerate the pace of sustainable and effective Environment Management Systems in an organisation.
