IndianOil's Haldia Refinery has been conferred with the third prize for 'Stream Leak Survey' under category Two at the Energy Conservation (ENCON) Awards. The category is for refineries having steam consumption more than 0.60 MT per MT of crude processed. The Refinery was felicitated under Category Three for ‘Best improvement in reduction of steam leak’.
Mr. RPN Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Corporate Affairs, Government of India, presented the awards in the presence of Mr. GC Chaturvedi, IAS, Secretary, MoP&NG.
Mr. Rajkumar Ghosh, Director (Refineries), IndianOil, Mr. Subhankar Ganguli, ED, Haldia Refinery and Mr. Alok Saha, CTSM, Haldia Refinery received the awards in the 17th Refinery Technology Meet recently held at Bangalore. The award carries a trophy and a certificate of merit each.
The awards recognised the sincere commitment and dedicated efforts of Haldia Refinery in the field of energy performance.
