Ans: IndianOil Scholarship can be applied online from 03.07.2012
to 30.09.2012 only.

Ans: Log on to http://www.eonlineapply.com/ioclscholar2012/default.aspx
and then click the button of 'Online Registered User. Click here to check submission
of application or viewing or re-printing your application', fill your email id and
date of birth (details given by you while applying online) then you will get your
registration number/slip.

Q. Do I have to send the hard copy of Scholarship Application
Form ?
Ans: No. It is required to be submitted by shortlisted applicants
only, who will be informed in writing to send required documents along with hard
copy of online application.

Q. Who can apply for the scholarship?
Ans: Those who have taken full time/regular admission (not correspondence
or distance mode) in the first year of current academic session of two years course
of 10+/ITI & MBA and in first year of four years course of MBBS & Engineering in
School / Institutions / College / University recognized by the Central/State Governments
in India and meet the eligibility criteria (details available on the website:

) can apply for the scholarship.

Q. What is the duration for which scholarship will be
awarded?
Ans: Maximum four years in case of Engineering and MBBS and for
two years in case of 10+/ITI & MBA.

Q. Once scholarship awarded, will scholarship amount
be automatically sent to me?
Ans: No. The Scholarship amount (presently by way of demand draft)
will be sent to the Head/Principal of the institute/college/school in which the
scholar student is presently pursuing his/her course. The payment will be sent on
six monthly basis. The payment will have to be collected by the Scholar from there.
The institute/college/school will certify the scholar’s credentials (form to be
filled by the institutions will be sent) at each stage, only then further payments
will be released. In this form the institution will certify the satisfactory academic
performance of each scholar and send it to the Administrator of the scheme (presently
M/S ACE Consultants), as & when required.

Q. Once I apply, when will I get the confirmation about
selection?
Ans: The list of applicants who will be selected for award of Scholarship
shall be displayed on website http://www.iocl.com/Aboutus/Scholarships.aspx
and http://www.eonlineapply.com/ioclscholar2012/default.aspx.
To know about selection, applicants should check these websites regularly from February,
2013.

Q. I had been Indian Oil Scholar during my last course
of 10+. Now I have taken admission in Engineering. Will I automatically get the
scholarship again ?
Ans: No. You will have to apply afresh and complete the formalities
as per existing Terms & Conditions and your application will be treated as a new
application like other applicants and no preference/weightage will be given being
the old scholar of the Scheme.
