The ‘Car in A Tank’ offer was an on-ground promo campaign for the discerning customers of branded fuels from IndianOil. It was open to all IndianOil customers purchasing more than Rs 300/- worth XTRAPREMIUM or XTRAMILE or Autogas. The offer which commenced in Feb ’09 ended on 30th April 2009.
The customer purchased XTRAPREMIUM or XTRAMILE or Autogas worth Rs 300/- and simply SMSed the bill number to 53636 (IOC XXXX). The winners were chosen through a system based random process from the database of the SMS entries received.
The exciting prizes included a Maruti Suzuki SX4, 4 Nos Maruti Suzuki A-Stars and 8 Nos Maruti 800 DUOs, in addition to 500 Nos iPods and 1000 Nos gift vouchers worth Rs 500.00 each.
