| List of Eligible Candidates for Written Test to be held on 1st June 2008 at Panipat for recruitment of Engineering Assistants in Northern Region Pipelines |

Vide Advertisement/ Notification No. PL/NR/P&A/P/Rectt/2008 in newspapers and IndianOil website
(www.iocl.com) in March 2008 applications were invited for recruitment of Engineering Assistants in Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL). With reference to the aforementioned recruitment advertisement, a list of candidates has been short listed. These candidates are invited for a written test to be held on 1st June 2008 (Sunday) at Arya P.G. College, Opposite General Bus Stand, Panipat for which call letters have already been issued to the eligible candidates.

"Applicants are hereby informed to appear for a written test on 1st June 2008 (Sunday) at Arya P.G. College, Opposite General Bus Stand, Panipat. The written test will be of one-hour duration and would commence at 11:00 AM. Please note that the venue shall be opened at 10:00 AM and shall be closed for the written test at 10:45 AM, therefore entry would not be permitted after 10:45 AM.
For the written test, candidates are required to bring two passport sized photographs and attested copies of certificates in support of qualification, date of birth, category (if applicable), physical handicap (if applicable), service certificate in case of ex-servicemen and no objection certificate from employer if presently employed by Central/State/Semi-Govt. body/institute. Please note that in case the applicant fails to submit any of these documents/requirements on the day of the written test, his/her candidature would not be considered.
Outstation candidates belonging to SC, ST and Physically handicapped categories will be reimbursed 2nd class rail fare from place of residence to Panipat by the shortest route on submission of proof of travel (journey tickets), provided the distance exceeds 30 km."
Candidates applying for posts reserved for OBC category may please note that in event of their qualifying in the written test, their candidature for trade test and interview would be considered only if their OBC certificate is issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form and the date of issuance is not earlier than 1st January 2008. If required, such candidates may collect the specimen of the prescribed form from the invigilator on the day of the written test.
Incomplete Applications/ Applications not fulfilling eligibility criteria/ Applications received after due date have been rejected.
In case any candidates does not receive the call letter dated 09.5.2008 and his/her name is appearing in the above list, he/she should reach the Test venue with one additional photograph (total 03 photographs) and identity proof for admission to written at the test venue itself to the satisfaction of the centre-in-charge.
