IndianOil's Haldia Refinery bags Safety Innovation Award-2010

IndianOil's Haldia Refinery has bagged the 'Safety Innovation Award’ for the year 2010 for achieving excellence in safety measures by the Safety and Quality Forum of the Institution of Engineers (India). Mr Rakesh Mehta, Chief Secretary-Government of NCT of Delhi presented the award to Mr A K Roy, Executive Director of Haldia Refinery in New Delhi during the Inaugural Function of the Safety Convention-2010 organised by the Delhi State Centre of Institute of Engineers. The honour recognises the outstanding and innovative safety measures adopted by Haldia Refinery in all its operations. The accolade also reiterates the strong commitment towards safety displayed by IndianOil refineries at all times which is also a step towards greater productivity. Two more refineries of IndianOil won awards at the event. While Bongaigaon Refinery won the Safety Innovation Award, Mathura Refinery was presented with the Commendation Award for stellar steps in the field of safety.
