IndianOil is a leading bunker fuels & marine lubricants supplier in India having bunkering operations at 15 ports across 7517 kms long Indian coastline. Having bunkering terminals at 15 ports, IndianOil supplies bunkers at over 60 Indian ports that include at all major ports of India. Apart from fueling the growth of maritime trade in India, IndianOil supplies 100% bunker requirement of the Indian Navy.

Residual Bunker Fuel

Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) production capacity of IndianOil is over 1.0 million tonnes per annum. VLSFO grade is produced by our refineries from sweet crude oil grades and complies with ISO 8217:2017 RMG380/180 standards. This fuel addresses quality considerations raised by International Organization of Standardisation in its advisory document PAS 23263-2019 such as Flash Point, Cold Flow properties, Catfines and ignition quality. The quality parameters influencing Ignition Characteristics of VLSFO such as CCAI, Aromatic Content being significantly lower than that of High Sulphur FO, which means better ignition quality and is expected to not emit excess black smoke.

Distillate Bunker Fuel

Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) specifically formulated to meet Naval distillate standard MIL-DTL-16884M with winter specs cold flow properties as well as enhanced ignition quality. It is offered at all major ports. LS MGO meets ISO 8218:2017 DMA and bunker fuel norms of Emission Control Areas (ECA) standards as well.

Marine Lubricants

IndianOil has developed marine lubricants formulated specifically for IMO 2020 compliant low sulphur marine fuels. These marine lubricants are available at all ports along the Indian Coastline.
