ISRL sets up SBR rubber plant in Panipat

IndianOil (IOC) CMD (business development) B.M. Bansal inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony of the Indian Synthetic Rubber Ltd (ISRL) and its product application development centre at the Panipat complex recently. Speaking on the occasion Bansal said that Indian Synthetic Rubber Limited would be the first state-of-the-art styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) plant in India, envisaged to be implemented in joint venture (JV) with TSRC Corporation, Taiwan and Marubeni Corporation, Japan. The equity participation in the JV is IndianOil (50 per cent), Trimurti Holding Corporation (30 per cent) and Marubeni (20 per cent).
