IndianOil bags Petrofed Awards

IndianOil's Panipat and Haldia Refineries have been conferred "Project Management Company of the Year 2010" award by the Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed). The Panipat Refinery’s ‘MS Quality Project’ won the Petrofed award in the Rs. 500-2000 crore category, while the ‘Hydrocracker Project’ at the Haldia Refinery was the winner in the above Rs. 2000 crore category. The awards endorse the refinery's capabilities on cost, within-schedule execution of projects and meeting all safety and quality requirements. The citation and trophy for the award was presented by Jaipal Reddy, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, in a ceremony held at New Delhi. The recipients of the award included R.S. Butola, Chairman, IOC; B.N. Bankapur, Director (Refineries); U.L. Dohare, Executive Director (Projects); R.K. Ghosh, Executive Director I/C (Panipat Refinery); Subhankar Ganguli, Executive Director (Haldia Refinery); A.K. Roy, Executive Director (CP&ES) and Ashwini Sharma, Executive Director (Panipat Refinery).
