TOLIC meeting held at Bongaigaon Refinery

The 23rd meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Bongaigaon was held at Bongaigaon Refinery recently, according to a press release. Chairman of the TOLIC, Bongaigaon, A Saran, Executive Director, IndianOil - Bongaigaon Refinery presided over the meeting. AK Mishra, Assistant Director, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs was also present in the meeting. N Kumar, General Manager (HR), BGR welcomed the Chairman, the Government representative and the Heads of the Central Government offices, railway, public sector undertakings, banks, insurance companies, para military forces and central teaching institutes who were present on the occasion. The Chairman Saran in his address said that efforts of the member offices towards official language implementation was highly commendable. Due to the sincere and dedicated activities of the member offices, the committee has maintained its high position in the North East Region. He urged the member offices to continue their good work so that the track record of excellent performance of the committee can be maintained.

Speaking on the occasion, the representative of Government of India AK Mishra, Assistant Director, Ministry of Home Affairs appreciated the work done by TOLIC, Bongaigaon towards implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government of India. He expressed hope that under the dynamic and proactive leadership of its Chairman the Committee would continue to scale new heights of glory. Dr Yajvrat, secretary, TOLIC, Bongaigaon conducted the meeting and proposed the vote of thanks.
