Bongaigaon TOLIC adjudged best in North East region

In recognition of its outstanding efforts towards organising effective implementation of the Official Language Hindi in the NE region, the Town Official Language Implementation Committee ( TOLIC), Bongaigaon has been adjudged as the Best TOLIC among all the TOLICs in the 8 States of the North East Region, which has 22 TOLICs, during 2010- 11.

The award was presented by Mr. ANP Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Official Language, Government of India to Mr. A Saran, ED, Bongaigaon Refinery & Chairman, TOLIC, Bongaigaon accompanied by Dr. Yajvrat, SM (A& W) & Secretary, TOLIC, Bongaigoan in the Regional Conference & Award Function organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India at Guwahati on February13, 2012. Mr. Saran also presided over the Open Session of the Conference and shared his views.

TOLIC, Bongaigon’s activities are managed and regulated by IndianOil Bongaigaon Refinery under the chairmanship of Mr. A Saran, ED, BGR. With a track record of excellent performance, the Committee has been continuously receiving awards and recognitions from the Ministry of Home Affairs and many other reputed national level organizations for its sincere and dedicated efforts in implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government, the release added.
