Punj Lloyd gets Rs 649 cr contract from IndianOil

Engineering firm Punj Lloyd said it has bagged a Rs649 crore order from IndianOil for construction-related works at the top Indian refiner''s Barauni refinery. Under the contract, Punj Lloyd would upgrade the refinery to improve quality of motor spirit to meet Euro-Ill emission norms for reducing vehicular pollution, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The contract entails engineering, procurement construction and commissioning services and is scheduled to be completed within 23 months, it added.
