IndianOil to spend Rs l, 084 cr on Haldia upgrade

IndianOil the nation's biggest refiner is spending Rsl.084 crore to upgrade its plant in eastern India to make cleaner-burning petrol and diesel. The company will invest Rs l.000 crore to establish the plant at Haldia, West Bengal, capable of producing Euro-111 petrol, Dinsha Patel, minister of state for petroleum, said In Parliament. IndianOil will also spend Rs84 crore on building a diesel hydrotreater unit at Haldia to make Euro-Ill grade diesel, he said.
