Shillong joins the Club of Fully Automated Cities

All 12 IndianOil Retail Outlets in Shillong were declared totally automated at a function held in Shillong recently. With this announcement, the city joined the club of Fully Automated Cities and became the first city in the North East India to be declared as fully automated.

Mr. Kennedy C. Khyriem, the Hon’ble Parliamentary Secretary of Tourisim and Arts & Crafts, Government of Meghalaya along with Mr.  Dipankar Ray, ED, IndianOil AOD and Mr. C. S. Chakraborty, GM (RS), HO inaugurated the OTPs of the automation system at M/s Peak Service Station and declared Shillong as Fully automated City.

Mr. Khyriem appreciated the efforts of IndianOil to make its outlets automated in Shillong which will boost the  transparency in fuel retailing  and assuring a computerized system for 100% Q&Q.

After dispensing fuel,  the auto generated cash memo were given to the customer in presence of Mr. Khyriem and Mr. C. S. Chakraborty, GM (RS), HO. He responded to the various queries raised by the reporters from the print & electronic media related to retail automation in the State in particular and in the North East in general.
