Guwahati Refinery dedicated the first school sanitation block to Lower Mirzapur LP school under 'Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyaan'. Lower Mirzapur primary school, located near Guwahati airport, was one of the beneficiary schools under 'Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan' selected for implementation by the state education department through Guwahati Refinery. The Refinery constructed the toilet as per the specified design, with attached running water supply system and 500 liters water tank attached with an electric pump.>

Mr. J. Barpujari, GM, dedicated the toilet block to the school at a  gathering of school students, teachers, managing committee members and guardians. Mr. Barpujari exhorted the students to keep the toilets clean and in hygienic condition, as good hygiene and sanitation are essential for good health. He explained that Guwahati Refinery is a concerned stakeholder with the surrounding communities and spoke briefly about its CSR activities. Mr. Karuna Kanta Deka, the Headmaster of the school and Md. Samsuddin Ahmed, President of the school managing committee expressed their gratefulness to Guwahati Refinery.

A group of young students rendered a melodious recitation of Kalaguru Bishnu Rava’s iconic poem “Bilote Haliche Dhuniya Podumi”. Mr. J. Barpujari, Mr. N. K. Chakraborty, DGM (HR), Mr. G. Ishorary, CM (A&W, CSR), Mr. Arup Laskar, Secy., IOOA (GR unit) and Mr. Atanu Das distributed sketch pen packets and chocolate bars among the students.
