CPCL to migrate to clean fuel with IOC LNG plant

With InidanOil Corporation's (IOC) Rs. 5.150 crore Ennore LNG terminal being planned to be commissioned by 2018, the Chennai Petrolchemical Corporation (CPCL), an IOC company, is clearing decks to migrate towards cleaner gas fuel yo power its refinery in a couple of years. Preliminary engineering study has been completed. The refinery major will proceed once the confirmed source of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is finalised. CPCL is waiting for the IOC's LNG terminal to go on steamy by 2018.
