IndianOil completes 50 years

India's flagship national oil company and downstream ' petroleum major, IndianOil is celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2009. IndianOil is India's largest commercial enterprise with a sales turnover of Rs. 2,85,337 crore and also the highest ranked Indian company in the prestigious Fortune 'Global 500' listing, with a ranking of 105 in 2009. As a dominant player, the Corporation recognizes protection of environment as a core commitment of its business. As part of this commitment, Green fuels (petrol and diesel) conforming to Euro-Ill emission norms have already been introduced in 13 cities/states; the rest of the country is getting BS-II fuels. IndianOil is fully geared to meet the target of reaching EURO-HI compliant fuels to all parts of the country by the year 2010; major cities will upgrade to Euro-IV compliant fuels by that time.
