Bansal to take over additional charge of IndianOil Chairman

IndianOil, India's largest commercial organisation, will get a new head in Mr. Brij Mohan Bansal, one of its directors. The government has not given extension to Mr. Sarthak Behuria as Chairman of IndianOil. Mr. Behuria will complete his five-year term on Feb 28, but was eligible for extension till 2012, when he will turn 60. A statement of IndianOil Friday said Mr. Brij Mohan Bansal, the current Director (Planning and Business Development), will take over as additional charge as Chairman. Mr. Bansal has been member of the IndianOil board since 2005. He is chairman of Green Gas Limited, a joint venture of IndianOil and GAIL India Ltd, as well as IndianOil Petronas Private Ltd, a joint venture of IndianOil and Malaysia's national oil company Petronas.
