IndianOil’s Refinery wins National Award

IndianOil's Bongaigaon Refinery won the "National Award for Prevention of Pollution" from the Ministry of Environment and Forests. The award was conferred on the Refinery in recognition of its outstanding contribution to Environmental Conservation and creating Environmental awareness in the Bodo Territorial Autonomous District region of Assam, which is predominantly a tribal dominated area. The award was presented by Minister of Environment and Forests, Jairam Ramesh to IndianOil's Director (Refineries) BN Bankapur on the occasion of the International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer at a function organized in New Delhi.
