SBI ATM in IOC Noonmati complex

GC Daga, director (marketing), IndianOil on Tuesday inaugurated an ATM facility at the IndianOil retail outlet located at Noonmati in the presence of a large gathering of IndianOil people, dealers and general public. This is the 14th ATM facility introduced in a retail outlet by Guwahati integrated divisional office under the North East integrated state office of IndianOil, according to a press release.

In his address to the assembled audience, Daga said that this was the first RO that he had visited which was run by an employees' cooperative society. The Noonmati RO is run by M/s Guwahati Refinery Cooperative Society, a society which was registered way back in March 1961, while the RO was commissioned a year later on July 10, 1962. It is among the first ROs in the North East to introduce xtramile diesel and xtrapremium petrol.

Daga also spoke about the close ties that IndianOil shared with State Bank of India in terms of business and appreciated the support that SBI extended to IndianOil with regard to core banking and RTGS facilities.

RN Mehra, GM, SBI reiterated the close ties between SBI and IndianOil and said that both these organisations were serious about service to customers and were continuously innovating ways to improve their services further. He mentioned that oil companies like IndianOil were the fore-runners in transforming themselves with the changing economy and increasing competition.

Earlier Daga laid the foundation stone of the North East integrated state office building at Sector-ID of Guwahati Refinery.

G Bhanumathy, executive director, Guwahati Refinery and A Pandian, general manager, North East integrated state office of IndianOil, were other dignitaries present on the occasion.
