IOC gets new boss; GAIL, ONGC key execs

After a year under caretaker heads, IndianOil got a full-time boss. OVL MD Ranbir Singh Butola took over the reins of India's biggest oil refiner-marketer on Monday. Two other oil biggies in the public sector, ONGC and gas utility GAIL, too got two board-level executives as the petroleum ministry finally moved after months of slumber to fill key slots.

On Tuesday, P K Jain took charge of gas utility GAIL's purse-strings as director (finance), while S V Rao took over the vital position of director (exploration).
