IOCL refineries register record performance

IndianOil Refineries have garnered a new record of crude throughput of 53 Million Metric Tonnes and achieving capacity utilisation of 102 percent which is better that the world average.

IndianOil Refineries thus recorded a capacity utilisation of over 100 percent for the fourth year in a row and attaining a distillate yield of 75.3 percent by weight despite planned revamps, shut downs and implementation of projects in all the refineries.

BN Bankapur, Director (Refineries) shared this while addressing the employees through a live webcast across IndianOil. He said that the refinery capacity expansion at Panipat and Haldia helped IndianOil reclaim its position as the country’s number one refiner during the fiscal year 2010-11.
