IndianOil in talks with Exxon Mobil, Chevron, RIL for NELP-VII

IndianOil is in talks with Exxon Mobil Chevron and Reliance Industries for bidding for oil and gas blocks offered in the seventh round of the new exploration and licensing policy. "We are in talks with several companies both domestic and overseas for bidding for NELP-VII," IndianOil chairman S Behuria told reporters here. IndianOil has established conucts with Petrobas of Brazil Exxon Mobil and Chevron during the road shows for NELJP-VII and "the response is very positive," he said. The company is also in talks with ONGC, Oil India, Gail and RE. for joint bidding. "I am not in a position to say who we are going to bid as these things are decided closer to the bid date," Mr Behuria said. Government has offered 57 oil and gas blocks in NELP VH, the bids for which dose on April 11.
