IndianOil's painting contest on oil conservation

Students from various schools participated in a painting competition at a function 'Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight-2008' organised jointly by IndianOil, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). The programme, which had started on January 15, concluded on Thursday Students of 12 schools of the state capital participated in the contest. In junior category, Saransh of International School won the first prize, Pranav of St Michael's High School bagged the second prize and the third prize went to Divya of Baldwin Academy. Abhineet Kumar of St Michael's High school became winner in the senior category, Rashmi Sinha of St Xavier's High School received the second position and Harshdeep of St Michael's High School bagged the third position. Harshita Kaushik, Shweta Singh, Satyam and Ayush Anand received consolation prizes. State Institutional Sales Manager, M K Sinha said they had organised 170 programmers throughout the state including display of posters and hoardings with message on conservation of petroleum products in rural and urban areas. Cycle rallies were also organised at various places. Others who spoke on the occasion included Manoj Kumar Sinha, Chief Manager, IndianOil, Vijay Saxena, Regional Sales Manager, HPCL, A K Jha, Deputy Manager Sales, IndianOil, S Prasad, Chief Manager, BPCL, Dev Dutt, event manager, Kalptaru.
