IndianOil to give facelift to BSRTC

The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) depots are all set to get a facelift, courtesy IndianOil. The IndianOil has offered to provide all modern amenities at the BSRTC depots. Under this, the IndianOil would install modern dispensing pumps, canopies, build cemented driveways and light up the depots with modern lighting system. "In the first phase, the IndianOil has offered to renovate the BSRTC's Patna depot by this year-end," said administrator of the BSRTC, Madan Mohan Singh. "The BSRTC, despite facing the financial crunch, is working to improve its working and trying to bring about a change in its work culture. We have already made a significant stride in it," he said. The BSRTC and the IndianOil, on Monday, renewed their contract for five more years for the supply of fuel to the BSRTC. The memorandum was signed by IndianOil's Chief Consumer Manager Vibash Chandra Mandal and Controller (Sales and store), BSRTC, RK Sinha. Speaking on the occasion, IndianOil General Manager (Bihar and Jharkhand), Abhay Jha, said that the IndianOil has selected seven BSRTC's depot - Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Chapra and Purnia - for modernisation. "We are also going to link the BSRTC's headquarters with divisional offices and depots with the help of fax machines and modern communication gadgets," he said. The IndianOil also distributed cell phones among depot officials for better coordination.
