Haldia Refinery bags PetroFed award

Haldia Refinery bagged the prestigious PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Award in the category Project Management (above Rs. 2000 crore) Company of the Year for 2010-11. S Jaipal Reddy, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India, handed over the trophy and Citation to Subhankar Ganguli, Executive Director, Swapan Ghosh, DGM (Projects), and Debashish Dutta, CIPM, Haldia Refinery, in the presence of R.S. Butola, Chairman, IndianOil, B.N. Bankapur, Director (Refineries), A.K. Roy, Executive Director (Corporate Plng. & ES), U.L. Dohare, Executive Director (Projects), and members of Project Team of Refineries Headquarters, and top-notch dignitaries form India's Oil & Gas Sector.

Haldia Refinery was conferred the PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Award in Project Management for the commissioning of the Once-through Hydrocracker Unit (OHCU) Project. The Refinery set up a new benchmark with the successful commissioning of the OHCU project, which was commissioned in a record time of 39 months and 28 days – the fastest possible time in the entire Indian Downstream Hydrocarbon Sector.
