IndianOil pioneers launch of multi function domestic pressure regulators
Mumbai   22-Jul-2011

IndianOil pioneered the launch of multi function domestic pressure regulator (MFR) in Navi Mumbai. The event took place at M/s. Atharva Indane, Vashi (IndianOil’s LPG Distributor) in Navi Mumbai. The first MFR was handed over to Sanjiv Ghosh, (the first customer) by S.K. Awasthi, IndianOil’s DGM in charge LPG business at Maharashtra & Goa, in the presence of senior officials from IndianOil’s Maharashtra State Office & Mumbai Area Office. MFRs come in two models – with analog or electronic displays. The MFR has certain unique features, which make it safe, user friendly as well as a boon to LPG users. Apart from its 100% excess flow shut off, which prevents LPG leakage in the event of excess flow of gas occurring due to regulator failure or hose getting cut, burnt or ripped-off, the MFR also has a child lock mechanism in the knob, which restricts the knob movement towards the ‘ON’ position.
