IndianOil celebrates its Foundation Day
Mumbai   13-Sep-2011

IndianOil celebrated its foundation day with much enthusiasm and fervour across the country. In Marketing HQ, Mr. G C. Daga, Director (Marketing) felicitated the retired employees of the Corporation during a function held recently in Mumbai. The celebration also witnessed the felicitation of IndianOil officers who had completed 35 years of service in the corporation. At the IndianOil Day celebrations, Mr Daga, in his address, remembered the many stalwarts of our past generations who had steered this great organisation with vision and zeal since its formation in 1964. He also acknowledged the untiring efforts of the field force, in far-flung and remote locations, that has kept the Corporation's flag flying high. 1st September is celebrated as IndianOil Day every year, as Indian Refineries Ltd. was merged with Indian Oil Company in the year 1964, to form India's very own integrated downstream refining and marketing entity, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. IndianOil is the country's only corporate among the top 100 of the Fortune 'Global 500' listing. IndianOil, this year, also earned the laurel of being Asia's Best Employer and maintained its status of 'Business Superbrand'.
