IndianOil donates Rs 3.2 lakh to HelpAge India

IndianOil has extended a financial support of Rs 3.2 lakh to HelpAge India, an NGO, in its crusade for well-being of the poor old people. RK Arora, general manager, IndianOil, handed over the cheque to the NGO representatives at a function. Arora said the donation for the cause of the elderly was company's commitment to the community welfare and development. HelpAge India state head Bhavneshwar Sharma, who received the cheque, said: “The financial support from the company will help the organisation in augmenting its work for the disadvantaged section of the elderly.” Sharma said the amount would be utilised to meet the health requirements of the older people who lived in and around the city through Mobile Medicare Unit of HelpAge India.
