IndianOil takes LNG to companies
New Delhi   13-Apr-2008
IndianOil has started transporting LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) to the doorsteps of the companies, literally. LNG is currently transported via a web of pipeline network. However, companies, which are away from the pipeline, are not able to tap this energy source. IndianOil has now started supplying LNG by tankers, similar to how petrol is transported. IndianOil Chairman Mr. Sarthak Behuria, on Saturday, inaugurated the on sit LNG facility at H&R Johnson's tile making factory at Pen. He said the company will be supplying LNG by road to two companies at present but has identified four to five more customers and hope to gradually increase the base.
