lndianOil releases 2,500 kl diesel

IndianOil’s Jalandhar depot is set to release 2500 kilolitres (kI) of diesel to the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on Thursday. This comes after The Indian Express reported that no diesel was available in around 70 per cent of HPCL fuel stations in Doaba and Majha regions, as the lndianOil had stopped supply of diesel and petrol since Monday. A statement by lndianOil Chief Corporate Communications Manager Chitrita Bose said that IndianOil has released 25,480 kI of diesel to HPCL in the northern region –comprising Punjab, UP and Rajasthan —till May 16. This is 385 kI more than the agreed pro rata quantity of 25,095 kl till May 16, she added.
