IndianOil's crude oil pipelines bags OISD Awards

IndianOil's Paradip-Haldia-Barauni Pipeline (PHBPL) and Salaya-Mathura Pipeline (SMPL) have bagged the Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) awards for the year 20 10-11 and 2009-10 respectively.

The award was presented by S Jaipal Reddy, minister of petroleum and natural gas in the presence of R P N Singh, minister of state petroleum and natural gas and corporate affairs. G C Chaturvedi, secretary ministry of petroleum and natural gas and chairman, Safety Council.

R S Butola, Chairman, IndianOil, V S Okhde, director(pipelines), J P Ojha, ED (operations), Anish Aggarwal, ED (Western region pipelines), H S Pati, ED (eastern region pipelines) received the coveted awards from the minister. The pipelines bagged overall best safety performance amongst cross country crude oil pipelines for the year 2010-11 and 2009-10. Paradip-Haldia-Barauni Pipeline with crude oil handling facilities at Paradip transports crude oil requirement of Paradip, Haldia and Barauni refineries of IndianOil. Salaya-Mathura Pipeline in the western region transports crude oil to IndianOil's refineries at Koyali, Mathura and Panipat.
