IndianOil Paradip Refinery’s first unit by March

IndianOil, the country’s largest oil marketer, has said the first unit of its Rs.30,000-crore Paradip refinery will be ready by the end of the year. “We are confident of completing the work on the first init of the Paradip refinery by the end of December and the remaining four units in the next four months one unit each month,” said IndianOil chairman RS Butola, adding the actual commissioning is likely to be in late March or Early April. The 10th refinery of IndianOil is coming up on a 3,000-acre plot at Jagatsinghpur in coastal Odisha. The 15-million tone Paradip project will take IndianOil’s refining capacity to over 80 million tonne per annum and will primarily cater to the eastern market.
