IndianOil to shell out Rs 300 crore more for every dollar rise

IndianOil on Friday said it is forced to foot Rs 300 crore more for crude oil imports for every one-dollar depreciation in the rupee. 'The impact till now is Rs 1,200 crore, IndianOil chairman Sarthak Behuria said adding the company's crude oil import bill this fiscal is likely to be at $38-40 billion dollar against $34 billion dollar in the last year, as crude prices have risen.
