Automation and DU Vendors' meeting organised at Ranchi

Automation and Dispensing Units' (DU) Vendors' Meeting was organised at Ranchi recently where Automation and DU, Pump maintenance co-ordinators of Engineering and retail and officials from Head Office, State Office and Divisional Offices participated. All India head of Automation vendors M/s ATOS Mumbai, M/s GVR Mumbai and M/s AGS Mumbai also participated in the meeting. Inaugurating the meeting Mr. G. Ramkumar, ED (Automation), HO explained the importance of automation in the present scenario.  He said that our aim is to convert automation from control mechanism to business proposition.

Adequate care and hand holding of Users & Service providers will make automation successful. He discussed further about various features of automation and action plan in consultation with automation vendors for Phase-V Automation.

Mr. R. S. Dahiya, GM, BSO discussed the role of the vendors in organisation and the issues concerned with automation system of Phase-III & IV in his keynote address. He laid emphasis upon the importance of vendors and completion of Phase-V RO Automation in scheduled time.

Mr. Arvind Kumar, CEM, BSO explained in detail the purpose of meeting in his address and need for achieving targets of RO Automation of 2014-15.

There was a detailed discussion on targets scheduled for the period February’15 to March’15 during the meeting.
