Programme on Intellectual Property in progress

A unique training programme on Intellectual Property was inaugurated by Mr. G. K. Acharya, GM, Technology Promotion & Forecasting and Pipeline Research, at R&D Centre on March 16, 2015. The three days’ Advance IP Training programme is attended by 14 scientists from various areas of research.

Mr. Gaurav Jain and Ms. Priya Mahajan from Clairvolex IP Solutions conducted the sessions. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Acharya highlighted the importance of Intellectual Property especially in a research organisation. This programme is in continuation of a series of IP Training programmmes started at R&D Centre earlier, wherein around 150 scientists were imparted Basic training Intellectual Property.

The advance training program will cover mapping of key features of invention, formulating the search strategy, searching of prior art in multiple databases, understanding of the Invention Disclosures, understanding inventive steps, IDF Preparation, Cases studies and analysis for search and various office actions, interpret and respond to Office Actions of patent office like IPO, USPTO, EPO etc. and is expected to further enhance the IP skills of the inventors.
