New Delhi   12-Jan-2009
IndianOil is all set to open its first hydrogen-CNG dispensing station in the National Capital next week. The company plans to mix hydrogen and CNG in the ratio of 20:80 per cent. However, the use of hydrogen as a stand-alone auto fuel in India will take another three to four years, sources said. The Government has created a 'Hydrogen Corpus Fund' of Rs 100 crore, with contributions from the Oil Industry Development Board, ONGC, GAIL and IndianOil, HPCL and BPCL.
