Productivity Week at IndianOil
New Delhi   17-Feb-2009
Productivity Week is being observed by the IndianOil across the country from February 12-18 to create awareness about productivity in the fast changing economic world order. Productivity is seen as the only bright spot in a recession-ridden global economy for attaining the ultimate objective of prosperity. In this period of constant change, intense competition and thin margins, financial judgment suggests that our business organizations improve their performance and ensure their survival and growth. Productivity should be imbibed as a culture and practiced as an agent of bringing about continuous achievements and prosperity. This was shared by Mr. B. N. Bankapur, Director (Refineries), in his message on the occasion. Further Mr. Bankapur shared that IndianOil would be completing and commissioning a number of key projects at its various refineries during the year. The major ones include Naphtha Cracker Complex at Panipat, the 3 MMTPA Panipat Refinery Additional Expansion Project and Once through Hydrocracker Project at Haldia. During the calendar year 2008, IndianOil refineries have achieved a capacity utilization of 104% besides achieving the best ever distillate yield.
