IndianOil to launch drive for Xtra Premium oil

As part of consumer awareness scheme, aimed at popularising Xtra Premium fuel oil, the IndianOil on Wednesday launched 'Saada Yaa Xtra Premium' campaign at two-dozen petrol pumps falling under the jurisdiction of its divisional office. Launching the scheme at Ritwick's Petro Shop, Saguna More, S K Chaudhary, senior divisional retail sales manager, said the purpose was to create an awareness among consumers on the benefits of Xtra Premium compared to normal petrol. As part of the campaign, car owners purchasing Xtra Premium petrol worth Rs 1,000, from the 24 designated outlets, would get a T-Shirt, while two/three-wheeler customers would be entitled for a cap, Chaudhary informed. Manager (retail sales) B Upadhaya said the company was initially targeting 10,000 customers to discover the benefits of switching over to Xtra Premium brand fuel oil. The scheme, he said, would remain operational for a fortnight and may be extended depending on the response. Two/three-wheeler customers of the branded fuel going 'in for purchase worth Rs 200 would be offered an Xtra Premium key chain, he said.
