IndianOil celebrates its Golden Jubilee

IndianOil completes 50 years of service to the nation and on the occasion of Golden Jubilee celebration a function was held at IndianOil retail outlet at Satwari, here today. Sweets were distributed among those attending the function, which included dealers, customers, IndianOil officials and other people from all sections of the society. On the occasion, Mr. Vikas Bahl, State Level coordinator, who was the chief guest, cut the cake at the festive celebration function. In his speech, Mr. Sachin Sharma, Deputy Manager (RS), IndianOil told that when IndianOil's journey began on June 30, 1959, India was at the crossroads, dependent as it was on the multi-national oil companies to refine and distribute vital petroleum products to the vast expanse of the country. Making endeavours to self-sufficiency, an intrepid band of IndianOil can drawn together by the spirit of service and patriotic passion, built the foundations of what has today emerged as one of the most potent corporate forces, independent India has ever witnessed. The birth of IndianOil and its success thereafter is already etched in the collective consciousness of the country. To mark the occasion, a slew of activities were proposed during the Golden Jubilee of IndianOil this year, which included medical camps, family welfare programmes, blood donation camps, Kisan Melas in rural areas and other customer-oriented activities.
