IndianOil celebrates 50 yrs in the service of nation

IndianOil, driven by the sprit of customer service and patriotism is celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year. As part of its celebrations, IndianOil while renewing its pledge for excellence in customer service is conducting various customer related programs throughout the country for strengthening bonds with its stakeholders. IndianOil's Punjab State Office organised a felicitation function in Chandigarh for its bulk customers based in the state of Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory Chandigarh. Over 20 prestigious Customers in Government, Public and Private sectors including Indian Railways, Indian Army, State Transport Under takings, Vardhaman Group, Nahar Group, Reliance Industries, A-One Ispat & Power amongst others were honored for their long association with IndianOil. Most of these customers have been meeting their Fuel and Lubricant requirement from IndianOil. IndianOil is planning to commission its state-of -the art Naphtha Cracker Plant along with downstream Polymer units in Panipat by the end of this year. The project is designed to produce 1.25 MMTPA Polypropylene and Polyethylene. This is the largest capacity plant in the world being operated by a Corporate that has never been exposed to petrochemical business earlier. The technology and capacities of the Naphtha Cracker and Polymer units are world class, with products ranging from commodity to niche grades. <b>Special Footballs for the Blind</b> IndianOil extended its helping hand in organising an Exhibition Football Match for the Blind, which was played between Blind Relief Association (BRA), Delhi and National Blind Youth Association (NBYA) teams. The Chief Guest of the event Mr. Sudhir Bhalla, Executive Director (HR), Refineries Headquarters, IndianOil, kicked-off the keenly contested match which was held on BRA grounds. On this occasion the Chief Guest also presented 100 specially fabricated footballs to Mr. K. C. Pandey who received it on behalf of Indian Blind Sports Association (IBSA). These will be distributed to member organizations for promotion of sports among the blind. The event was part of a bouquet of activities being organized by IndianOil to commemorate its 50 Golden years in the service of the nation and the society. The five-a-side match which ended in a draw was played by four totally blind mid-fielders and a partially-sighted goalkeeper on each side with the specially fabricated football. Mr. Bhalla also gave away trophies to the teams and players. The match was enjoyed by everyone present.
